Loews Coronado Bay Resort, Coronado

The hotel presents a beautiful exterior, but the experience inside leaves much to be desired. My room, although spacious, felt dated and not up to par with the price I paid. On the plus side, the staff members were wonderful, particularly the receptionists and bellhops. However, additional fees and a less-than-ideal room view detracted from my overall satisfaction with the stay.

The hotel's beautiful location and cleanliness of the rooms were standout features during my stay, but I found the resort fees quite steep compared to the limited amenities offered. The additional parking fee was also unexpected and felt unjustified. While the pool area was nice, it wasn't enough to justify the high overall cost. Unfortunately, I believe there are better value options available nearby.

We had a great time at the resort overall! The staff was attentive and the views were simply stunning. However, we faced some challenges with dining and noise from events happening at the hotel. The location was peaceful, but a bit far from some downtown attractions, which can be inconvenient. Still, with a comfortable room and enjoyable amenities, our stay was quite pleasant.

The staff went above and beyond to make our stay special by surprising us with champagne for our birthdays. However, we found the breakfast service to be a bit slow and inconvenient during our rainy stay. Overall, it's a great spot for relaxation and enjoyment, but improvements could be made regarding timely service during breakfast.
